															Partial Discharge (PD) Testing
1. Partial Discharge is an Indication of Something abnormal in Electrical Assets and by regular testing, it might be picked up at an early stage. No Outage or downtime is required for Partial Discharge (PD) Testing. PD measurement provides you with very sensitive information to help you effectively detect localized weak points in the insulation system. PD Occurs inside the insulation it gives the signal in the form of high Frequency likes (KHZ; MHZ; GHZ)
For Example: 33 KV S.W gear panel remove bus bar from CT
2. IEC 60270 Partial Discharge (PD) as a localized electrical discharge that only partially bridges the insulation between the conductors, and which can or cannot occur adjacent to a conductor.
For Example: 33 KV S.W gear panel remove bus bar from CT
